Prescott Garden Project
Our Proud Garden Team:
Christa Struckmeier, Molly Ennis, Renee Leury-Duckworth, Stephanie McCain,
Johanna Lopes, Eric Marsh, Jaylene Dieter and Michael Lopes.
The Prescott Garden started as a bare patch of weeds and dirt in 2004.
Two of our teachers, Christa Struckmeier and Molly Ennis proposed a plan
to build a school garden. A place for students to learn outdoors. Each grade
level has their own garden bed to plant in the spring.
Each spring and fall our students and families add to our living classroom for everyone to enjoy.
The Prescott Garden Team strives to add new life and art to our garden each year.
Our garden is recognized as a 4-H Wildlife Habitat and has received many grants and
support from our community. Most important, our students have a place to learn outside.
Our Garden Clean Up Party in April was featured in the
MidCountyMemo
